Michael has been working with prefelted wool to create pictures. This slideshow shows some of the process.

We just delivered this felted wool jewelry to Cobblestone Gallery in Waterloo, in time for some last minute Christmas shoppers. Aileen, the owner, was telling us that someone uses the felted heart in their car, hanging from the mirror, as an essential oil diffuser. What a great idea!

Thanks to all our neighbours, friends and sale patrons who came to Michael’s table at the Bobbins, Baubles and Brushes Artisans’ Sale at Meadow Acres. It was so much fun to talk about felting and see some pieces move on to new homes. Also, we’re grateful to the other vendors and organizers for creating such a festive space.

We had a lot of fun setting up Michael’s table and meeting the show organizer, artist Kelly Stevenson.

A gift of prefelt wool from the Fibre Garden in Jordan, Ontario, from Pat, inspired Michael to start working with this medium to create wet felted pictures.

Michael has been busy getting ready for this sale in the beautiful Blyth Festival Art Gallery.  We've included a couple of pictures of Michael and Peter visiting the Blyth Festival last summer with their friend, artist Pat Nosal Bremner, to submit work to the Blyth Festival Art Gallery Community Show.

Michael is looking forward to being a vendor at Bobbins, Baubles and Brushes at Meadow Acres Garden Show again this year.

This was our second year as vendors at Artisans at First.  It was great to see old friends and make new ones.  We appreciate being invited to share our work by the community of First United Church.
